The Department of Computer Technology Engineering at Al-Qalam University College organized Today, Monday, 3/11/2024, in the conference hall, A scientific symposium entitled “Using the Bologna Process… in Managing Examinations and Grades,” which the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research seeks to implement in colleges and universities.
The workshop aims to clarify the most important issues related to the Bologna System, By highlighting the management of exams in the system, distribution of exam grades, Raising students’ grades as activities or reports. It also highlights the possibility of allowing students to view their grades and absences through their personal accounts after approval by the department and the examination committee. The workshop discussed in detail how to distribute theoretical and practical grades, formative exam grades, enter grades digitally into the system, preparations for the mid-term exams and the final exam, the role of the exam committee for each of the administration, professor, and student profiles, and focus on student attendance and urge them to use the system to follow up on weekly schedules and absences.
The symposium was presented by the Head of the Computer Technology Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Karim Muhammad Ahmed, and with the teaching participation in the Forensic Sciences Department, Assistant Lecturer Yahya Abbas Qasim, In the presence of a number of department heads and professors.
While Al-Qalam University College seeks, through its permanent coordination with the Ministry of Education, to strengthen the aspects of this path and ensure its implementation with high quality, In addition to qualifying faculty members in colleges regarding its nature and the soundness of its application.
