Scientific symposium on (How to use medications safely and effectively) in the Department of Pharmacy

Under the sponsorship of the Dean of Al-Qalam University College, Professor Dr. Latif Saeed Barzanji, Organized by the Department of Pharmacy at Al-Qalam University College, This Saturday morning, corresponding to February 24, 2024, a scientific symposium was held under the title (How to Use Medicines in a Safe and Effective manner) in the conference hall, In the presence of a group of college professors.

The symposium was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Niazi Burhan Al-Din Muhammad, Head of the Department of Pharmacy at Al-Qalam University College, and Assistant Professor Dr. Muhannad Saleh Mawlood, and M.M. Haiman Omar Ahmed, for the purpose of educating and informing participants about the optimal use of antibiotics and the harms of using pharmaceutical analgesics.

The symposium aimed to clarify the optimal uses of medicines and avoid common mistakes in using medicine incorrectly.

The symposium recommended the need for caution and attention when taking medication. Knowing some of the side effects of taking these medications, such as feeling drowsy, dizzy, etc. It is necessary not to consume it with tea, coffee or juices. Be sure to take medications at the specified times and according to the prescription of the specialist doctor.
