Introduction

At Al-Qalam university College, we are dedicated to promoting gender equality and empowering all women and girls, as outlined in SDG 5. Our Initiatives and Projects

Empowering Women in STEM: We have launched the “Women in STEM” program, which aims to increase female participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. In 2020, we witnessed a %12 increase in female enrollment in STEM programs

Diversity and Inclusion Workshops: Our university regularly hosts workshops and seminars on diversity and inclusion. These events are open to all, and they promote gender equality and understanding among our students and staff

Research on Women’s Issues: Our faculty conducts research on gender-related topics, addressing issues such as women’s health, gender-based violence, and social disparities. This research informs policies and promotes evidence-based decision-making
